Beginning in the late 70,s as Corporate Vinyl Welding the owners, Ken & Lexie Lethborg began a mobile vinyl repair business. This grew rapidly and they then engaged the help of others to service the growing demand for their services.

This was a relatively new industry to the Australian market and the demand for their expertise to supply their equipment and train other operators throughout Australia grew.

Mylar Supplies was born as the distribution arm of the operation along with a name change to Trimfix for the mobile repair  operations.

Mylar Supplies was replaced by Trimfix Supplies as the Mylar range of products that were a part of their  sales were discontinued. The growth of the business was rather rapid and new areas of plastic repair were opening in every area of the market as well as the demand for plastic welding equipment and welding rod to the fabrication and manufacturing industry.

Overseas markets opened up and in 1996 Trimfix Ltd was birthed in New Zealand, this is now running strongly with several successful  operators.

The demand for technology and supplies in other overseas markets continues to grow with supplies now being exported to many Asian countries with an agent now established in Malaysia.

We have been appointed distribution agents for Wegener Plastic Welding Equipment from Germany and Master Butane Tools USA.

With these appointments and growth, Trimfix Supplies has now incorporated Complete Plastic Welding Supplies to better reflect the company's complete range of plastic welding equipment, along with developing and supplying products as technology changes in this industry.

We have the largest range of products servicing the Vinyl, Leather & Fabric repair service industry in Australasia along with those used in the Plastic Repair Industry covering Automotive, Motorcycle, Agriculture and others

Training programs are available at our premises as well as through the plastics training centre in Queensland. Training of personnel and staff can also be carried out at the customers workshop.
